First time we’ve tried C2 was Brian’s birthday (last March). It was an instant hit! And from there I knew we’ll have more little lunch date at that place to try and devour the rest of their menu. Burp.
Just like today, we met up with his mom & dad in Shangri-La and decided to have lunch here at C2 Classic Cuisine. It is a Filipino restaurant that offers pinoy food with a twist. Imagine Crispy Kare-Kare. *wink*
Aligue Rice Php125
Creamy crab fat, toasted garlic and rice.
Sizzling Bangus Belly Php365
Choice cut boneless bangus belly topped with lemon flavored butter. Tito Jun’s pick.
Tokwa’t Baboy Php185
Crisp tofu cubes and pork crackling in soy vinegar sauce topped with fresh onion rings and crisp bell peppers. This has got to be Brian’s favorite!
Sorry but I forgot to take note of the name. It’s like beef nilaga & sinigang at the same time. It’s delicious!
Hot Calamansi Php45
Not too hot. Not too sweet. Just the right taste of calamansi served warm. Yum.
Pandan Iced Tea Php60 for a small glass
The taste of this house blend tea is so so. Nothing special.
Overall, we loved our lunch. We loved the taste of our food. I just wish they have wider venue to accommodate guests and to amp up their air conditioner. My bet is we’ll still come back to try out other food on their menu.
Thanks B for inviting me to lunch. You’re the sweetest! *smile*
