Sunday Family Crossover Brunch

One fine Sunday (a couple of weeks ago) was Tita Vilma’s birthday. And we celebrated the special occasion at Dusit Thani in Makati.

And I’m glad to be a part of their family celebration.

This post will showcase our celebration in photos. Though I must tell you that we were not able to capture everything because of our fondness of the many foods on the table. Hence, the we-will-go-back-and-explore-each-resto plans were concluded. And I must say, I cannot wait.

Dusit Thani’s Sunday Family Crossover Brunch is a buffet brunch from all 4 excellent restaurants they house in the hotel.

You can eat as much as you can from Italian – Tosca, Japanese – Umu, Thailand – Benjarong and Continental restaurant – Basix.

This is where we stayed for the most part.

Comfortable ambiance inside Basix that offers wide range of local and international dishes.

And, (some of) the food…

Bread & butter.

Salad we created from the salad bar.

Sushi

Lamb

Salmon Belly

Veal Adrio

Festive Fried Rice

Different spices from their live cooking station.

Prime Ribs

Not too thin, not too thick. “I want it well done, please.”

My favorite! I’m a self-confessed carnivore.

And a meal wouldn’t be complete without a sweet ending.

So, be sure to leave room for desserts!

Fresh fruits to eat on it’s own

or to dip in…

Chocolate fondue. Yum!

And you can ask the chef to make fresh crepes of your choice. You may choose from different fresh fruits, fillings and syrups!

Almond flakes toppings for my mango crepe with chocolate syrup. Delicious!

More heavenly desserts…

Dusit Thani Lobby

where you can also find

Dusit Gourmet

for freshly baked cookies, cakes, homemade chocolates, sandwiches and ice cream that you can enjoy dining in or to take home or to the office.

Tempting!

Thank you for inviting me to join.

Again…

Happy happy birthday, Tita Vilma!

♥ From your whole family and everyone who loves you. ♥

This blog post wouldn’t be possible without the wonderful photos courtesy of my B.

Thank you for all the photos I’m using in this blog, darling.
